Data collection on this website
Who is responsible for the data collection on this website?
The data processing on this website is carried out by me as the website operator. You can find my contact details in the imprint of this website.
How do I collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to me. This can be data that you enter in a contact form, for example. Other data is automatically collected by the IT system when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page view). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter my website.
What do I use your data for?
Some data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without error. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You are entitled to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to demand the correction, blocking or deletion of this data. Furthermore, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint regarding this and other questions on the subject of data protection. Besides, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
You also have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances. For details, please refer to the privacy policy under “Right to restriction of processing”.
2. General information and mandatory information
Data protection
I take the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data is data with which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what information I collect and what I use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
I would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Note on the responsible body
The responsible body for data processing on this website is:
Henrik Liebel – Webdesign
Gneisenaustr. 18
24105 Kiel
Germany
Email: mail(at)henrikliebel.com
The responsible body is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses or similar).
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send me an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to the collection of data in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) e or f DSGVO, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, I will no longer process your personal data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (objection under Article 21(1) of the GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing, you are entitled to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing; this also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct advertising (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (2) DSGVO).
Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority
If breaches of the GDPR, data subjects shall have a right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged breach. The right of appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You are entitled to have data that I process automatically based on your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to me as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to me cannot be read by third parties.
Information, blocking, deletion and correction
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you are entitled to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, the right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the topic of personal data, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint.
Right to restrict processing
You are entitled to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. To achieve this, you can contact me at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by me, I usually need time to check this. For the duration of the verification, you are entitled to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was / is unlawful, you can request the restriction of the data processing instead of the deletion.
- If I no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or enforce legal claims, you are entitled to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of the erasure.
- If you have lodged an objection in accordance with Art. 21 (1) DSGVO, a balance must be struck between your interests and mine. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you are entitled to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from being stored – only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Objection to advertising e-mails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation to send advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested is hereby prohibited. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action if the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as spam e-mails.
3. Data collection on this website
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
Contact form
If you send me an enquiry via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by me for processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. I will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send me an informal e-mail. The legitimacy of the data processing procedures carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with me until you ask me to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Request by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact me by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by me for processing your request. I will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO if your request is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and / or on my legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO), as I have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to me.
The data you send to me via contact requests will remain with me until you ask me to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular legal retention periods – remain unaffected.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, I require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows me to verify that you own the specified e-mail address and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. I use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing procedures already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide for receiving the newsletter will be stored by me until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by me for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
5. Plugins and Tools
IP anonymization
I have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This informs Google that my website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of my online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

This website uses Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via an interface and allows me to control the precise integration of services on our website.
This allows me to flexibly integrate additional services to evaluate user access to our website.
I process your data with the help of Google Tag Manger based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. DSGVO. Furthermore, the use of the Content Delivery Network is based on my legitimate interests, i.e., interest in a secure and efficient provision as well as the optimization of my online offer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO.
The specific storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by me, but is determined by Google Ireland Limited. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google Tag Manager: https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/

Google Analytics uses cookies and other browser technologies to evaluate user behaviour and recognize users. This information is used, among other things, to compile reports on website activity.
I process data with the help of Google Analytics for optimizing my website and for marketing purposes based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. DSGVO.
The specific storage period of the processed data cannot be influenced by me, but is determined by Google Ireland Limited. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for Google Analytics: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we indicate on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. 6. Borlabs Cookie
This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) to store your cookie consents. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer and can save information for providers. Cookies are used to make this website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Temporary cookies are deleted after closing the browser, permanent cookies remain for a specified period of time and can make the stored information available when the online offer is called up again.
You can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. I try to design the online offer in such a way that the use of cookies is not necessary. However, it is pointed out that the use and in particular the user comfort are restricted without cookies.
7. Integration of third-party services and content
This website uses content, services, and performances of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user’s browser, the transmission of the IP address is mandatory. The providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) therefore take note of the IP address of the respective user. Even though we endeavor to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. If we become aware that the IP address is being stored, we will inform you of this.
8. Changes to the privacy policy
I reserve the right to change the data protection declaration to adapt it to changes in the legal situation or if changes to the service and data processing.
